The Ref's Signals

 

Driving an opposing player into the boards
with a body check.

 

Taking a run at an opposing player using
more than two strides to build up speed.

 

Hitting an opponent with both hands on the stick and the stick is not touching the ice.

 

The use of an elbow to impede an opponents progress or to slow an opponent down.

 

When the stick is brought above normal height of an opponent's waist and hits or menaces the opponent.

 

Clutching an opponent's body with hands, stick or arms.

 

The use of the stick in tripping or otherwise impeding an opponent's progress.

 

When a player intentionally interferes with or impedes the motion of an opponent who is not in possession of the puck.

 

A minor two minute penalty will be assessed due to unnecessary roughness.

 

Striking an opposing player with the stick with an intent to injure.

 

Stabbing an opponent with the point of the stick blade while the stick is being carried.
