GAME NOTES, FEB. 15
By admin | February 15, 2008
What better way to spend the morning than sitting in the ice cold “press box” at Chap Ice in Austin? So begins the eight-game pre-playoff playoffs between the Bees and the Ice Bats. Can the Bees magically snap out of their funk? Can they at least play spoilers to Austin’s playoff bid?Can they run the table and make the playoffs themselves? There is drama here, fans, and certainly an intriguing enough story line. It all starts tonight at 7:38 PM in Austin. Listen live on KURV 710 Talk Radio or online at killerbeehockey.com.
- Here’s this weekend’s game notes.
- The team released D Tyler Fuller on Thursday to make room for C Jason Weitzel. He met up with the team Thursday night at the hotel and will have his paperwork filed by game time.
- Show up early to the Hive if you want to get one the picture frames being given away Saturday.
- Don’t forget to set your Tivo or DVD-R; Saturday’s game is on TV (Cable 19, XERV-9).
- By the way, those SleepNumber beds are OK. I forgot the post my review from last weekend’s trip to Tulsa. I didn’t get to adjust the thing as much as I wanted, but played around with it a little. Easily more comfy than the bunks on the bus.
