The 5-foot-10, 182-pound native of Balgonie, Sask., also appeared in 19 games with the Oklahoma City Blazers and had 13 points (3-10-13) before being acquired by the RiverKings. A rookie out of the University of Regina, he began the season with Fuessen EV in the German Oberliga.
Hedberg, 25, appeared 37 games with the Killer Bees this season, posting 10 points (3-7-10) and a minus-12 rating. Â

Thats odd. I thought defense was the achilles heal of the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. An unproven forward (this year) with just 3 pts in 13 games seems a little pointless (no pun intended) at the trade deadline for a team that is struggling. What a surprise.

On hockeydb, this guy can score. And the best defense is a good offense! Go Bees!
