SOLUTIONS, AND THIS WEEKEND’S GAME NOTES

I’ve gotten a few emails, phone calls, etc. regarding Saturday’s incident.
Despite the actions of one presumably intoxicated cementhead, Killer Bees hockey is a fun, affordable, safe, family entertainment option. We, and the Dodge Arena, will not tolerate that type of behavior.
- We are working to identify the one fan who was responsible. That said, SOMEONE HAD TO SEE SOMETHING. Please email me, even if you want to do so anonymously (go on yahoo and make up an email address).
- Sporting events, like movie theaters, malls, air shows, festivals, etc, are places where the public gathers. Like anywhere, there are always going to be people who disrupt things. And like anywhere else, it’s up to the rest of us to be proactive about it. If someone’s out of line, get security and the police if they don’t notice things right away. Hidalgo Police don’t tolerate much stupidity in the Dodge Arena.
- One of the reasons for this blog is to interact with the fans. If you have ANY problems, email me and I will work to get it corrected. Whether your seat is loose, your soda was flat, your hot dog was cold, or someone had too much to drink and is causing a ruckus, LET ME KNOW! You can email me at radio@killerbeehockey.com. I will read it, I will respond, and I will work to see that any issues get resolved.
- Here’s this weekend’s updated game notes.
- We arrived in Tulsa around 10 a.m. and the team was on the ice by noon.
- The hotel, which has those SleepNumber beds you see on TV, is right next to the Tulsa International Airport. There was a squadron of fighter jets taking off earlier; I’ve never heard anything so loud.
- I’ll give you my unbiased review of the beds tomorrow. We’ll see how they stack up against the bunks on the bus.
