-The Bees finally out shot their opponents tonight 45-37, the first time since November 21st, which was ironically against
-Travis Banga posted his 21st and 22nd assists of the season tonight giving 32 points.
- Newcomer Robin Big Snake gave fans a show tonight giving us penalty minutes, shots, a goal and an assist tonight. Big Snake fought with Scorpion Kevin Harvey just 1:21 into the game, posted and assist on Voltera’s goal in the second, and posted the Bees second goal.
COACH FIXTER SOUNDBITES
Having more shots on goal for once:
“It’s nice to have the differential in our favor. We put a lot of shots on a good goaltender and he made some great saves. It’s encouraging. The lines were the same and the guys just did a better job of getting the puck past their defenders and focusing on trying to score.”
On this weekend’s performance’s, and where the team must go from here:
“We’ve got things to build off of. There were some positives and that is what we will take out of this weekend. Tonight we played with passion. That was the challenge and we played with passion.”
Preparations for the road trip:
“I think it comes a good time for us with the two days off because of the All Star break and once we get back we just try to build of the pretty decent performance tonight.”
Final thoughts:
”I would just like to congratulate Travis Banga and Rich for representing us at the All Star game. I know they will do a good job and they will represent us well and hope they have a lot of fun. As for the fans that are as frustrated as us, stay with us, we appreciate your support. We are going on the road for a while and hopefully we can get some wins and get everything turned around for eveybody.”

Got to give credit where credit is due. Voltera finally showed up in my opinion and played with a real captain’s passion. Now thats what I like to see. Good night for the snake to.
Having said that, Fixters comments are right on, its something to build on, but the line combo’s have to change.
Do what was working for you at the beginning of the season with your line combo’s. When we were winning, albeit the personnel isn’t the same today, the combinations were a mix of speed and sniper pretty well balanced. Why is the top goal scorer on the team on a slug 3rd line? Why are all the midgets with speed on one line? Why are there two anchors (exception tonights game) on the same line? Why haven’t there been any trades made to shore up the defense with some skill? Why, why, why. We all want answers. Lip service is getting lame.
Go Banga Go!

Saturday nights game was better than Friday nights game.
We are frustrated with the way Bees have been playing with loss after loss. There was the passion that has been missing but, still need get better with the team work. The
addition of Big Snake was good. Now find the winning combo that works and hopefully we can win. Rumor has it that there are player that really don’t really want to be here to them I say quit or play to the best of your ability and do the job that you are being paid to do and quit taking it out the team. I like I was told this is not the NHL not easy to trade
them. I will as long as live in the valley and love hockey I will stand behind the Killer Bees through the wins and the losses. Our coaches have the passion and the majority of the team has the passion but, there one or two that don’t
those are the ones that have to find the passion and the team work should hopefully fall in place.
