MUNDANE MONDAY
By admin | January 7, 2008
Whew. I’m pooped from the weekend. Since “all” I do is announce the game, I can’t imagine how gassed the players are. Despite getting whooped at Corpus, I still feel like the weekend was a success.
Obviously, from a hockey perspective, three out of six points is “so-so.” But considering who those three points came against and the way the team battled to get them, there’s plenty to be proud of. The team quite simply looked to be exhausted on Sunday. Hopefully today everyone gets a good rest and is recharged for tomorrow vs. Arizona.
Tickets for tomorrow are 2-for-1, so come out to the Hive. What else is there to do on a Tuesday in January? Nothing.
Just to clarify something, I wrote in a previous post that “none of us would be here if we didn’t love the game.” That’s not a knock on the Valley; far from it. So I hope no one took it like that. I simply meant that none of us would be 3000 miles away from home/family if we didn’t have a passion for this.
I hope you enjoyed this past weekend’s festivities. Pre-game ceremonies always seem to run longer than expected and Saturday’s was not exempt. But what a ceremony it was. Here’s a few pics…

to whom it may concern i have a little problem that is bothering me i dished out 1700 for season for this year but yet there are other people who just pay a lower price seat and sit here they please if that seat is un used it suck when i saw that well i have been seen it all season long maybe iam stupid and acting like a baby but i dont think its fair for us saeson ticket holder i spend so much money and yet other get there ways with sitting where ever. the killer bee hockey team is great i know that we dont win them all but if you are a true fan you stand by them no matter what better luck next time (bees) i suerly wil be ther next game

Your advantage is that you have the same seat season long and don’t ever have to worry about a ticket or arriving early. So what if people who have cheaper tickets move into the better seats if they are not sold. I have season tickets and don’t have a problem with that at all.

what happen during the 3rd period is that when they made all the goals i was not there and sam about my seats i know that is the advantage to have the same seat all the time and that is great but it is sad to see that when someone spends money for season ticket when you can just buy them cheaper and still sit where ever you want. unfair to the season ticket holders sorry that is just the way i feel
good luck tonight bees kick a**
