GAME NOTES, DEC. 28

By admin | December 27, 2007

Here’s this weekend’s early game notes.

Hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas. I want to thank all the wives and girlfriends for putting together such an amazing spread on Christmas day! It hit the spot, that’s for sure.

Some fun things going on this weekend here at the Hive. If there’s one this we try to do, it’s to make sure everyone has a great time whether the team wins or loses. I know that doesn’t mean much to the diehards, but the research shows the casual fan usually has no idea who won or lost when asked that question as they leave the ballpark/arena.

Friday night is Pillow Case/Pajama Party Night. The first 1000 fans get pillow cases courtesy BMP Radio. I know the game ops crew has some goofy things planned to get everyone into the spirit. If someone comes to the game wearing foot pajamas with the fold-down backside, I’ll buy you a drink of your choice on Saturday night (post game in the VIP Lounge) for making yourself look like an idiot in front of 5000 people. Fair enough?

On Saturday night, I’m sure most of you know we’re doing the $1.50 beer thing. I always say this, but make sure someone else drives if you plan on going to town with the cheap suds.
