GAME NOTES, NOV. 30
By admin | November 29, 2007
Here’s this weekend’s game-notes-113007.pdf(early edition).
Also updated the player bios. Enjoy, and if something doesn’t make sense, feel free to let me know.
Last night’s TIP-A-BEE at Outback in McAllen was a lot of fun. I’ll post some pictures in a bit.
Here’s something I want to put together for our TV broadcasts. It was a staple of Bruins telecasts for a long time and they finally brought it back. Youth hockey people (Howard, Duffman?), help me make this happen.
Around Minor Pro
- Every team’s nightmare comes true in Elmira. Hopefully everyone is OK. I hate to think the driver fell asleep at the wheel. Alot of times I ride up front in the jump seat across from Benny, our driver, and just BS with him; trainer Jorge Garcia does the same in an effort to keep him from getting bored or tired. Sometimes teams and bus companies stretch their drivers too thin; the most important thing is safety.
- Here’s why affiliations at this level aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. Again, do you want to win or develop players? Not that there’s anything wrong with “development,” I’m simply saying “pick your poison.”
