Laredo, Texas — Andrew Desjardins scored twice and Dustin Traylen made 25 saves as the Laredo Bucks shut out the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees 5-0 Tuesday night at the Laredo Entertainment Center.
Desjardins scored both shorthanded and on the power play. Jeff Bes and Rane Carnegie each collected two assists.
David Lemanowicz took the loss in net for the Bees with 33 saves.
Rio drops to 7-7-2 while the Bucks are now 14-3-1. The teams meet again this Friday at Dodge Arena at 7:30 p.m. The first 1000 fans receive Killer Bees ball caps courtesy First National Bank and KRGV NEWSCHANNEL 5.
