Tough game tonight; Texas wins their eighth one-goal game. They are 8-4-0 on the season. And one of those losses was a one-goal game.
I wasn’t sure whether or not Texas had a CHL Network feed; they didn’t. As far as I know, it’s Austin, Wichita and Texas as the only teams with no feed.
Even if there’s no CHL Network feed, you can always listen to the game…click on “Listen to the Game” on the front page of killerbeehockey.com. It takes you to allinbroadcasting.com, our streaming audio provider. Simply scroll down to find the game and click on it (you need windows media player to listen).
Nice setup in North Richland Hills. Great team hotel with plenty of stuff nearby to keep the boredom away. The rink itself is like a nicer Austin. It certainly isn’t a “pro” rink, but it serves its purpose well.
My apologies for the trouble with the broadcast. Turns out the weather in McAllen may have played a factor. I was told that the basketball team had trouble with their connection to ESPN 1240, and that one of the other stations in the BMP headquarters got knocked off the air. Oddly enough, weather does affect the quality of phone line connections, and phone lines are how we get on the air.
Nice to see Donny Herron. Some of you know Donny from his involvement with youth and adult hockey in the Valley. He was my color man two seasons ago, and it was fun to do a game with him again. He lives in the Fort Worth area, and sends his regards to everyone in the RGV. He may make a trip down when the Rage visit, if not before.
Currently on the way to Corpus Christi, expecting a 5 a.m. arrival (or somewhere close to there). Word is Ken McCrae was less than pleased at practice the other day and let the Rayz have it, so I’m expecting a battle tomorrow.
Now I think I’ll roll into my bunk and try to get some sleep. Been battling a brewing cold the last few days and these overnight bus trips never help

too bad the monitor decided not to cover the game…not even a small word story…I don’t buy the excuse that they don’t have enough people…with pointstreak and radio at their disposal, something could have been written

good luck tonight in corpus.. the palker fam was listening last night, and we’ll be listening again tonight.. hopefully the radio feed is better tonight!
