MASSE PLACED ON TEAM SUSPENSION

By Killer Bee Hockey | November 22, 2007

Hidalgo, Texas — The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees of the Central Hockey League today announced that, at his request, LW David Masse has been placed on team suspension to tend to family issues in Quebec.

“We support David in this difficult time and wish him the best,” said Killer Bees Head Coach Paul Fixter. “David’s presence will be missed in the lineup, but as professionals we move forward with our season.”

There is no timetable for Masse’s return to the club.

“David will be missed both on and off the ice. We are a family-first organization and we support his decision to be there for his family when they need him most,” said Killer Bees President/Owner Troy Nelson.

The Killer Bees travel to Fort Worth to take on the Texas Brahmas this Friday and then visit Corpus Christi on Saturday.
