Hidalgo, Texas—The Youngstown Steelhounds remain the only undefeated team in the Central Hockey League as they defeated the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees 4-2 Sunday afternoon at the Dodge Arena. The Steelhounds notched three unanswered goals in the third period coming from a 2-1 deficit with Petr Pohl scoring the game-winner at the 11:29 mark in the final frame.
It was Pohl who connected first just 42 seconds into the game for Youngstown to make it a 1-0 game. Rio’s Josh Bonar, on a pass from Travis Banga, responded to tie things up at the 9:34 mark going into the second period.
Rob Voltera captured his fifth goal of the season on a 5-on-3Â advantage just 2:53 into the second giving his team the lead going into the final period.
It was all Steelhounds after that as they scored three unanswered goals in the third to come way with their 10th win on the season to remain the only undefeated in regulation (10-0-1) team in the CHL.
Brad Roberts picked up his second win in net on the season with 27 saves. Jeff Van Nynatten suffered the loss stopping 37 of 41 shots.
Next up the Bees face off with the Austin Ice Bats Friday November 16th at the Dodge Arena, followed by a Saturday night match-up with the Corpus Christi Rayz. Game time is set for 7:35 p.m. for both games.

Time for the vets to sit and watch, (minus 3 on the night. One short handed. Fixter keeps putting them out on the 1st PP with lack lustre rewards. Time to change it up and put some of the young guys out there to see if their efforts can get the old guys hungry again.
