Listen in the Arena - 93.5FM
By | October 16, 2007
If you were at the game last night you may have noticed me walking around the arena, apparently lost, with an old school walkman on. I wasn’t rocking out to the best of Autograph; I was checking the new low-power radio signal in the building.
We’ve had a number of fans tell us over the past couple of years that they wish they could listen to the game in the arena. Since we’re on AM radio, it’s impossible to get the signal in the building; too much metal, lights, etc.
So, we bought a mini-FM transmitter to rebroadcast the game in the arena. So, now you can bring a headset or a little radio and listen the broadcast in your seat. Just tune to 93.5FM inside the arena. I’m going to try and set it up so you get the on-air feed, meaning the produced version (music, commercials and everything else). If not, you’ll hear the producer and I yapping back and forth at each other, or Alex, Dennis and I trading insults during the breaks.
If you have not checked out the new broadcast lineup, go here http://killerbeehockey.com/schedule/broadcast.html
—Here’s a look at what’s coming up;
Wednesday - No.1 favorite Bee announced on killerbeehockey.com. Who could it be? I think you’ll be surprised.
Thursday - If the roster hasn’t been announced before, it will be by then.
Friday - Opening day! Don’t forget the first 1000 adults (16 and older) get a replica Bees 5th anniversary jersey! Get here early.
